• Yes, this is a retail version. The inner package has a scratch off install key that you must enter on install for Microsoft to vet out your OS install.

• I'm not sure what you mean by that version by that question I mean. You buy it in a retail store but it is the only Windows 10 professional they offer. The only other options are Enterprise version and that would be for corporate type multiple PC uses under one license.
