How do i know what windows product to purchase. I had windows 10 pro but cant locate product key. the darn thing wont upgrade with original product key do i have to repurchase it. null

There are free utility programs available that will find your Product Key for you. One I have used many times is called "The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder". It is a freeware utility that retrieves from your Registry the Product Key (cd key) that was used to install Windows. Good luck.

If you haven't already found it - the "Windows 10 Pro Product Key" is on a card (found in its' very own special pocket - on the inside cover) of the fancy package the Flash Drive is wrapped up in.

You should be able to call microsoft and they can tell you what can be done.
