If your system has an OEM key in the firmware, and you install the same level (Home, Pro, etc.), Windows 11 will self-activate with the Windows 10 OEM key from firmware. If there is no OEM key in firmware, and Windows 11 Home has been successfully installed, the activation screen in Settings will indicate Windows 11 Home is inactive. In this case, this purchased key will fully activate Windows 11 Home. It is entered in the Change Product Key option on the Activation screen in Settings.
