• Customization, the black and white is basic colors while the red blue and other colors are more of a preference on a controller.

• One has RAID with mirroring and one does not. There are 4 (black) wire/connector that is capable of up to eight Serial ATA channels(one device per channel). Four RAID capable Serial ATA (3.0)Gb/s) connectors via the ICH7R.
