• This controller is one of the newer designed models of XB1 controller, so it has a 3.5mm jack build in. As long as your headset has a 3.5mm (standard) plug, you can send game audio and/or chat audio through it with no additional adapter.

• Yes, the newer design of Xbox One controllers have 3.5mm headphone jacks built in. It will work fine on an Xbox One. If you are using it for PC use, it doesn't work if you are using Bluetooth only, if you want to use that function on PC you need an adaptor.

• It has the port for the headset adaptor - like a micro usb - on the front so you can plug your headset in there if you buy the adaptor (it has volume controls on it, etc. It is not just a plug).
