I dont believe so i have bought gift cars here in the us and sent the code to my friends from other countries for special occasions and they have never had a problem redeeming to their account

No not at all . Just be sure to save all receipts n emails etc. just in case. As long As you have a code there will be no problem thank you have a good day

That shouldn’t be a problem because you can redeem gift cards in any region regardless of where they are purchased.
