Q: QuestionI had 5 original elite controllers. All of them had the rubber grips fall off and bumper buttons fall out. What design changes were made to eliminate this well known problem?
Asked by Scaredconsumer.
- A:Answer My elite 2 broke after 2 months of use with bumper problems. it has been a absolute nightmare trying to get it replaced. I have an extended warranty through Best Buy and Microsoft they are both giving me a hard time but admitted the bumper was broke. I spoke to a Microsoft ambassador over Twitter and they said they knew the bumpers were still not fixed and they don't know if they are ever going to be fixed. This was also a well known problem in the elite 1's. This is my 6th elite controller due to past broken controllers.

Q: QuestionWhat will be the manufacturer's warranty on this product? really not looking forward to spending $180.00 to have replace parts such as bumpers, triggers & sticks myself in the first 6 months of ownership as I did on my 3 other original Elite controllers.
Asked by StayFrosty.
- A:Answer There is just the 90 day Limited Warranty from Microsoft. I'd recommend an extended warranty on any gaming console... I have a "Red" Microsoft Xbox One Controller and with less than 40 hours of gameplay, the right joystick began to "drift" and the crosshairs on Modern Warfare are moving on their own to the left at times...
