- Answer You can't extend lower tier memberships anymore , if you have gamepass core you have to full cancel membership and give up what time you have left to activate premium.

- Answer Go to your Xbox live account online and (or) just type into your web browser (redeem Xbox code) and look for the follow link that should take you right to the code redeem section and just type the 16 word code on the back of your card (scratch off the blank white line to reveal your code) and type that code into the redeem code section of your account
