Nope. Then again that is a subjective answer. I do most of my gaming offline, and still have a lot of discs b/c I prefer to keep my HD space available for Apps and downloadable content. I also use it as my primary Blu-Ray/4K player. Recommend spending the extra money on a console that will provide the same basic capability along with reading discs. Additionally, you can usually find great deals on One S consoles all the time.

Or never had xbox and just starting out so you dont have physical discs to contend with. Also this appeals highly to parents, kids cant throw somone elses discs in a console and play games they dont want them to play. And eliminates damaging discs from kids constantly touching them.
