You'll be able to do all those things but to play Fortnite, you'll need Xbox Live, which is $60 a year. You won't have to pay to play Fortnite on Playstation 4, Switch, Mobile phones and PC.

As for YouTube and Netflix as long as you have WiFi connection you can download any free applications for video/movie streaming and you DO NOT need the game pass!

BUT I would caution purchasing the digital only version because what you give up is just not worth $50. This is worth a $150 MAX. I recently bought an XB1S Minecraft edition for $199 (full deluxe version of Minecraft included). I almost always see sales. You aren't seeing one right now BECAUSE of this console. Just be a little patient and you will see the XB1S at $250 or lower. The games it comes with are garbage. Minecraft has made about 2 gazillion dollars and it aging. Forza 3 is ok IF you love racing games. Sea of Thieves is PVP all the time. If you are into that it's a decent game. None of these games are must have games.
