Yes, Xbox One S is compatible with 4K TVs and supports streaming video and 4K UHD Blu-ray playback in 4K. It doesn't allow for gaming in true 4K, though.

It does put out 4K quality and has HDR (high dynamic range), so if a game has higher than a 1080p resolution it accommodates that and ups the ante for your viewing pleasure. The caveat is that not all Xbox One games have HDR and 4K capabilities. You'll have to do your homework on finding which games can do this.
