This unit will play any games and use any accessories that work with the original Xbox One and the S. Only exception is Kinect. The original had a dedicated Kinect port. The S and X require a dongle to plug into one of the three USB ports. They gave you the dongle for free for a while when the S came out, but I have not heard any mention of doing the same for people jumping from the X1 launch editions to the X, so you may have to buy that accessory. The 4K Ultra BluRay should sound and look as good as those players..... Firmware updates will probably help close any performance gaps as well.
