Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For this specific headset, The wire has a 3.5mm jack that supports both audio input and mic output. However, the issue is most desktops do not have a connector that will support this type of jack. If you are having the issue of hearing audio but not being able to use the microphone or vice versa, or you have two connectors on your desktop (one pink and one green) then you will need to use a headphone splitter...If you have a connector that supports both mic in and audio output on your desktop then this headset will plug in and play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The jack will not allow you to use both the microphone and the speakers because the jack is a 4 pin that requires a 4 pin connector. Meaning, if you have a pc that has two connectors (One green and one pink) you will not be able to use the mic and listen to audio at the same time you would have to pick one or the other. You have to get a splitter or use a 3.5mm jack to usb adapter. Unless you have a PC that supports both mic in and audio out into the same connector (which is rare for desktops but common for laptops) then you are out of luck my friend, goodluck to you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just pugged it in and switched audio to the headphone port on W10.
