“Will this controller work with non windows games? Like those on steam specifically. Is there anything you have to do do make that happen?”

Depends on what you mean by "on steam specifically." Steam runs on multiple platforms. There are steammachines which run on a linux/debian os and there is steam for Microsoft Windows. This product was specifically made to be compatible with Windows 10. If you use steam on Windows 10 - this product is awesome. I've used it on a Windows 7 machine and it worked fine too.. but, the headset adapter doesn't work on the controller (this only works on windows 10).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as the game supports a controller it should work. Most games I've tried have worked without any additional setup. Mapping controls to the controller may be required though.
