There is a few things you must do. First download all windows updates, microsoft just released an update on 11.7 for this controller. Second download the xbox accessories app from the window store. Plug in controller and then run app and update the controller. Third, for steam only. You must opt in for beta participation, steam has been adding new features for the next xbox and playstation controllers, but they will only work in the current beta build of steam. If you do all of these the controller should work great via bluetooth. I had to update all of my system/controller and now everything is working without an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to buy the Xbox wireless adapter for windows 10. Connect the adapter to your pc and your controller will work like it’s supposed to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve run into this problem, for steam make sure to turn on Xbox controllers and set up a config, full support isn’t available yet so it’s mainly manual, and for the Xbox app, make sure in the game the controller settings are on, it matters the game, for example in forza you have to check controller settings and make sure the configs are on, they turn off when they see they don’t recognize a controller at first.
