“So i just recently purchased this headset and my friends in the party are saying i sound like im on a kinect or the xbox app... is this a known issue??? this mic is brand new and i dont know why the sound quality is so terrible”

Seems to be the same issue with all headsets playing backwards compatible xBox 360 - over modulation of the mic with ANY headset I've tried. It would appear to be a software issue on the console itself (S/X series)
