• These would most definitely be prefect for that purpose as they will play game audio through the headphones and allow you to turn the volume on your TV all the way down to zero.

• Thanks for checking! Yes, this headset allows you to play without the need for external speakers. If sound is coming out of your TV, just mute the volume.
