“I've heard this headset has some minor unique sounds when they sync and also when they turn on, do these sounds play only when connecting to an Xbox console or will they work when pairing & connecting to pc as well? Would I need a separate adapter for pc”

That sounds play for Bluetooth mode (when pairing with a phone or a computer).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried it on my pc but since they are bluetooth they should connect to the pc like other bluetooth headsets. As for the sound it is in the headset so it will play when turning on/off regardless of system.

The sounds play on power up or down no matter what you're connecting with. They connect to PC via Bluetooth and work well with my PC as well as my Xbox. So no adapter needed for PC unless your PC doesn't support Bluetooth connections without an adapter.
