Watts are not specified in the product literature (linked provided at end) however the second link seems to indicate these may be a 2 watt radio which I would agree with based on childhood experience with some Radio Shack walkie talkies. We used these to communicate during a caravan of four vehicles on a trip. They worked great and added a lot of fun to the trip. Two of the four cars only had a driver so it felt like you had someone to converse with. I've seen other feedback complaining about the provided rechargeable batteries no lasting. I can tell you all four radios never dropped a bar off full charge in the two day, 8 hour trip. These worked great. http://midlandusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/T71VP3-Spec-Sheet.pdf https://www.buytwowayradios.com/blog/2006/07/the_truth_about_range.aspx
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems like you are intelligent enough just by asking that question to know that it’s only half a watt to 1 watt for frs and GMRS
