Yes. While the CP86 is designed to reconnect automatically for convenience, you can control when it connects by turning your phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on or off. If Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are disabled, the adapter will not establish a wireless CarPlay connection. This allows you to use your vehicle’s original infotainment system when preferred and reconnect to wireless CarPlay whenever you're ready.
