• No. It is not really bright enough for outdoor use. It is a great device for the price but honestly I think a full moon would make watching difficult. It will be ok, but honestly I would not buy it if you are looking for something for outdoor use.

• Yes, it is great, so easy to use. I connect to laptop and display on fence or projector screen. 20 feet distance is probably max I would want to be from it. Picture is clear. Recommend connecting to speaker for better volume.
