• You could if you set it up on a TP link or Wyze wifi outlet. There are others as well. I control lamps and such the same way.

• Yes. Select your cam in the app, press … in the upper right, scroll to “private mode “

• Hello Robert, Unfortunately, the device doesn't have a power switch feature. You plug it in when using and you will need to unplug it when you desire for it to be off.
