You can measure the temperature for an adult or child using the forehead or ear option you will simply have the adult figure set for an adult and a baby figure set for a baby or child. If taking a forehead measurement, ensure the forehead probe is on and place the device in the center of the forehead where your eyebrows meet. when in place trigger the SCAN button for the result. If taking an EAR reading take the forehead probe off, gently place the ear probe in the ear canal then trigger the SCAN button for a reading.
