“I got a USB type C "charge & sync" cable for my Google Pixel C tablet. It charges tablet, but doesn't let me see tablet's file system (unlike my Samsung Galaxy 5 phone, which appears as USB drive). Will Modal cable let me xfer _files_ from tablet to PC?”

Using this to connect my Samsung S20+ to my desktop computer. Data transfers and charging are both working just fine. Nice Cable!..

Likely the reason is the settings on the phone. The phone has to be "set" as to how it is presented to a PC. ie. charge only, file transfer, media transfer, etc. My Motorola phones prompt me each time I connect.

This cable works for most tablets with a USB Type C port.
