“Is there an associated fast wall adapter, or can you use any wall adapter? According to reviews this is a fast charger, but sometimes the wall plug being standard may defeat the purpose. Is there a wall charger recommended to purchase together with this?”

I use it with the fast charger that came with my phone (Moto Z3). It seems to charge as fast as the original cables did when they were new.

When I use it with my Samsung adapter it fast charges so I'm pretty sure you can use it with any fast charging adapter and it will work the same way.
