“I've only seldomly used this charging cord. At most 10-15 times. But it just stopped working out of nowhere. Purchased it in late January 2017. Does this particular model/cord have the 1-year warranty on it? If not will Best Buy replace it?”

I would attempt to have it replaced!!! If there is no physical damage they may honor the 1yr warranty....

Yes, it has a "1 Year Limited Warranty", says so right on the back of the box... Haven't had a problem with mine so I'm not sure about the return process.

Yes Best Buy will replace their insignia brand phone charging cords and if you're a member they can look up your receipt for you to do the exchange
