There are plenty of websites that can tell you what channels should be available to you in your area. One is https://antennaweb.org/ which lets you search by ZIP code. One of the main issues you can't predict is how your TV and antenna will pick up various channels. It depends on your altitude, building height, density of buildings, etc. It can also depend on your TV. I installed this antenna for my father-in-law at his 3rd floor apartment. On his bedroom TV, which is an older flat-screen, it didn't detect any channels. Then I tried the same antenna on his living room TV, which is not quite as old. It picked up about 15 channels. What you have to do is buy and antenna, try it and see how many channels you get. If you don't get enough to justify the cost of the antenna, return it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's installed in area code 29803. I get 12 clear channels.
