• Yes, you can use it in a horse trailer if you have the proper hook up on your TV. The location of where you put it also helps get a better signal. Also, just depends on what area you are trying to use it in. Check the area and see how the location is for local channels.

• If your horse trailer has an opening or a window. Doesn't like metal surrounds. Put the antenna outside.

• Any type of metal will block the signals from reaching and bounce the signals away from the antenna. You can try the antenna in a window if there is one but the antenna would need to be facing the direction of the towers so there is no chance of the signals being impeded by the metal.
