Location, location and location are essential. Moving it will get you different results. Unless you're deep in the woods and far from the signal you should be able to get something much better than what you have now!

I have a very large tree, Antenna works fine at this time, but there are no leaves on it at this time. The plantation blinds are closed at all times, a TV that had no cable on it worked very well in this room for over thirty years.
