I don't know about roof, but I have aluminum siding and it works great. Lots of channels and very clear picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This gets attached, usually with a strip of gorrilla tape on the inside of your wall, closer to a window and towards the top of your wall. Unless your wall has horsehair plaster in it, it should work fine. I don't believe the roof would affect it, but you can return it if it doesn't work. Mahe sure you get the right range, I have the 60 miles. I've bought the 40 miles and not get any channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a metal roof (assume you do, too). It has to be placed near a window for best results. If I put it on the wall behind the TV, I don't get many channels at all. Near the window, I get dozens of stations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.depends on location of the antenna. try it , if not return it and try an outdoor antenna such as Antennas Direct - ClearStream 4V Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna - Black/Silver Model: C4-V-CJM SKU: 6761173
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to have the antenna in a window that faced the direction of the towers for a chance at reception. With metal roofs a roof mounted antenna tends to be the best option so you can get the antenna up and over the metal blockage. You can certainly test an indoor to see if it will work and return if the results are poor.
