I used an online estimator tool of how many channels I'd get with a basic antenna, and it was 4. This one gets us about 10. We live about 45 miles from all major broadcast cities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The reception received is better with the Mohu. I've tried the cheap ones and they don't have the quality

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I get over 80 channels with excellent reception. There is no comparison to anything I have seen indoors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has nothing to do with the cost of the antenna and everything to do with where you live. If there are abundant signals in your area with good signal strength any antenna should work for you. If you live somewhere where there are not many signals or if you are in an area with lots of terrain (hills, mountains, buildings) an antenna may not work as well. Google "what OTA signals are available in my area" and find a site tool that will allow you to enter in your COMPLETE address, not just your zip code, to see what the signals are like in your area before you purchase ANY brand antenna! Happy cord cutting!
