“Wondering why the box does not mention anywhere that you must plug it into a USB port on your TV... or buy one. You spend $80... get home then find out you have to buy a $20 USB power adapter to use it. That's just not right.”

Sorry to hear you did not have USB power on your tv. Most HDTVs have this port. My 4 year old Sharp/Roku tv has one. It is not Right for them to assume you have the port and Should have made it clear in listing. However if you want to support an amp you just have to do as you have. Hey it is probably delivering your required stations? Look on the bright side, you got it to work!
