“Would this antenna be a good choice outdoors for windy areas? I live in Sarasota and strong winds are always possible during storm season. I currently have a Sky 60 which works great, and because of its design the wind passes thru it.”

Yes this antenna would work fine in windy conditions. I live in Dandridge TN near the mountains and it can get extremely windy here at times too.
