I had this happened with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.
I contacted the Geek Squad and had them replace the screen. I had to pay for this one because this was my doing. However, after I received the tablet back with the screen fixed, it all of a sudden had a different problem that were not there before. My stylus no longer worked on the screen. I use the stylus a lot. It took 3 more trips to Best Buy, some lenghty discussions, leaving it with the Geek Squad. before it started working again. Now, I still have the same problem. Your area may different. Just call them and find out.

I would take it in and let geek squad go over your plan with you. They are knowledgeable and coutourious they let you know whats best for you.

With bestbuy protection, you got nothing to worry about. Bring it into their Geek Squad. If they can't fix it they replace it
