Does this include surge protection? null

I would hope so, as we are living next to a lake and my well has been hit before. I had an electrician install a whole-house lightning arrester that hasn't fried yet, but it's cheap insurance to have. It sits outside, looks like a can. Look at the bottom of the electric panel and you can see the small “can” like the size of a beer can. That's the lightning arrester. Good luck!
