DON'T BUY ANYTHING WITH BEST BUY ... !
Signed up for Geek Squad last year and 2 months ago cancelled because my husband has it through his job. 
I've been having to cancel the charge ($220) with my bank "5 TIMES!" and Best Buy keeps trying to get the money every other freakin' day!
A complete and absurd nightmare ... :&

Best Buy charged my credit card for a so-called “Best Buy membership” without my authorization or knowledge. It just showed up as a $49.99 charge on my credit card. I NEVER signed up for anything with Best Buy. How dare you BEST BUY! You have lost my trust, respect and my business. Not that it matters to you because a company that would resort to unauthorized charges to make a buck, really DOES NOT care. I will warn as many people as I can to what you are doing. It’s just WRONG. Shame on you.

Best Buy may add trial subscriptions to your purchase, and after the trial period ends they automatically start billing your credit card without any warning - even if you never activated or downloaded anything. It's a sneaky way to add on revenue to a sale; otherwise, they would just give you a month free with no strings attached.
You can cancel by calling 888-BEST-BUY but be warned you will have to dispute the charge with your credit card company to get the initial charge refunded.

That also happened to me. 
The US has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE laws, that is beyond ridiculous. Much worse than a third world country.

I had to call today to cancel a so-called membership from Best Buy that I never authorized or asked for. Customer service said they would credit my credit card for the Unauthorized charge. Shame on you Best Buy for trying to make a buck using unethical tactics. Do better.

The only way I could do it was to make sure I knew which credit card they had the number of and cancel that credit card. I called and talked to them many times but they kept resubscribing me. I told them I didn't even have a computer and I didn't need it it didn't make any difference to them they wanted to keep taking my money regardless.

I want to cancel any membership you think i have. Was just charged $75.00 on my debit card that was unauthorised. I expect a full refund and want to opt out of any future charges or recurring charges. I spoke with customer service the last time this occurred and they were supposed to cancel. I do not even own the computer any longer. Expect full refund immediately. Not acceptable.

This happened to me.  However,  I didn't realize it for a few months as we only use the account to buy electronics.  Now it is a problem as they DEMAND the money....

I realized the same thing during an auto-renewal that came across on my credit card for $49.99 that I never authorized. The interesting part is that Best Buy's email receipt for me was for a $29.99 charge, and when I cancelled the membership, I got $29.99 back, but there's a clear $20 discrepancy between what Best Buy said that they charged vs. what I was actually charged.

Warning to everyone to check your credit cards - this was a fraudulent charge from Best Buy. I definitely disputed via my credit card company.

I called the number given to me to verify my phone number when contacting Best Buy. Following directions I clicked on the number indicated and was told of this huge charge I had agreed to. I did not agree to a charge. Nothing was on the screen or in the phone message to indicate that I was getting a service that required a charge. I am calling to get help from Geek Squad. I already have a membership and do not authorize any additional charges.
