No, this is not compatible with most samsung phones. it will charge momentarily, then it will start blinking and stop charging. Every few hundred times you try, it will work, although it becomes very hot and triggers the thermal protection in the phone. After my charging port broke, I had to switch to wireless charging, and I wake up to a dead phone 4/7 days of the week with this charger :( PLEASE don't drive yourself crazy like I did dealing with this!
