Would this work with the Samsung galaxy s7 edge? null

Yes, however it works best with a MOPHIE Battery pack case, or other compatible phone case that isn't smooth . The MOPHIE case has a rubbery back that prevents the phone from sliding off the magnetic charger. If you use just the stock S7 Edge, the smooth back of the phone slides off the Wireless connector. That has been my experience.

Yes, as long as you have the Mophue charge force case for it. I'm using it with an 8+.
