• While I never understood why something that is sold for the iphone does not have a lightning plug, the mophies still use a micro USB. So if the mophie case is on your phone, you need to use the micro usb plug and if the phone is out of the case, you can use the lightning plug.

• You can charge any apple product that uses the lightning connector and any device that uses the micro USB connector but not at the same time.
