- Answer Some folks on Q&A section are saying MG7540 is compatible with Xfinity phone service. However, since there is no phone jack, how are we supposed to connect the phone on this modem? Can anyone help on this?

- Answer You are correct. You chose the wrong product. The modem works only with cable. If you don't get your Internet through a cable company you need a different modem.

- Answer Best check with your internet service to see if it is compatible. I use WOW and they were more concerned with other things , but had no problems with the unit.
