You have to have a internet provider. This one is expensive, don't believe that, I needed this particular one. I didn't do my homework and rushed. Do yours, get the one that fits your home and what your using it for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You still need the cable company for their signal, however instead of renting their modem, you will have your own. I think the current rate is $10/month, so that's money saved, plus you will have the modem for life and can take it anywhere you go.
