I would say mine is in excellent condition (no scratches on screen and plastic back). Only minor wear on the Sim tray pinhole.

This was in good condition once the battery was charged. When it looses the battery power, my teenage daughter was in definite foul condition but the phone didn't complain too much.

Excellent. The same as "new". As far as I am concerned for the phone that I received, refurbished and new are equivalent terms. I am specifically referring to the unlocked, refurbished, Motorola Moto g7 Play.
