Neither, It's a cable Modem. To use in place of the rental from Spectrum or Charter ,etc. You will need to activate it with your cable internet provider and then plug it into a separate WiFi router if you want WiFi.

Neither it's only a modem. You need to purchase the Wi-Fi enabled router separately.

A modem not wifi you need a router too.
