Yes it works for xfinity. its a cable modem design specifically for Xfinity. xfinity requires docsis 3.1 and this is that. xfinity does not accept docsis 3.0 anymore. and says its not compatible but they all are.. the reason behind this is because docsis 3.0 internet vulnerability and its speed is limited to 110mbps. im answering this because i used to have a motorola cable modem with docsis 3.0 and it can only handle 100 mbps something like that. oh forgot to mention... if you use more than 1 terabyte of download data... Xfinity will charge you $$$... they dont offer unlimited plans unless you ask.. they charge extra 50$ on top of what your paying now for unlimited Data. Your welcome #Bored
