“I am getting fiber to my house in about a month. I don't think the fiber uses the coaxial port on the back of the modem for connection. What port on the modem is used for the fiber connection? I only see one Ethernet connection on the back of this modem.”

This modem does not support fiber. fiber will require a different type of modem

Please try again later.This modem is for internet provided by cable companies only (Cox, Comcast/Xfinity, etc.) You will want to check with your provider on certified compatible devices. Some fiber internet providers will drop a converter that supplies you with an Ethernet port for you to plug your router directly into.
