The Motorola modem is the perfect fit for Xfinity gigabit system, it delivers 996 Mbps. My original modem was a Arris SB8200, it would only delver 520 Mbps. My current router is a RT-AC66U-b1, it will only deliver 506 Mbps on the WIFI. I've spent hours by phone and e-mail with Asus customer service, requesting the correct settings for 750 plus Mbps WIFI. I would personally stay away from Asus, terrible customer service.. I'm waiting for my new TP-link archer C4000 to arrive. I've seen good reviews things from people on Xfinity and Verizon that that the C4000 router will deliver 800 plus WIFI
