• I would bet engraving would be a problem. The back of the watch is used for charging and has a sensor for monitoring activity. I would not try to engrave it.

• it should not effect the watch just stay away from the sensor lens in the center and don't go too deep.

• I believe it will since you have a heart rate sensor on the back, I wouldnt take any chances.
