Depends on your usage, with light usage it might reach 24 hours, but generally you are looking at 12 to 20 hours. Again it really depends on your usage. If you are really concerned about the battery life, as I am, I suggest waiting a few days to observe early adapters feedback and reviewers who had the product for few days. Keep an eye on MKBHD review coming very soon. Generally batteries will yield better results after few cycle.

Battery performance depends on network configuration, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, and voice, data and other applications usage patterns.

My battery lasts between 12-15 hours with Ambient Mode ON, and 35-40 hours with Ambient Mode OFF. I have had the watch for a few weeks now using the latest update and this is what I am consistently getting.

Yes it lasts a whole day. After using it from waking up and then putting it on the charger when going to bed, it still has battery left - easily after 15 hours.

There is an update for the system that increases battery life released in August-September. I can go through a ~15 hour day and still have ~30% battery. It all depends how much you use it.

That totally depends on how much you use the watch and if you have the ambient screen on. My watch lasts about 16 hours with moderate use. I have it set to turn the watch face off when I'm not using it.

Full "business" day. I had about 25% left after using it for a full day (from 7am to 9pm). I didn't use the watch excessively and my day involved trekking through an airport for which the watch proved extremely useful.

Yeah the first day battery sucks because the update for some reason drains it but i get two full days easy

I would say that it lasts a full working day with normal usage. So I'd say about 16 hours. So you can go from about 7am to 10pm without a real problem. Although just like a phone, if your using the voice features and have the watch face to be always on then your life will probably drop.

The battery does last more than a full day if you use it with moderate use and have the ambient screen option turned off.
