• Hello, It should work as it is stated on Consumer Cellular that they use SIM cards which is a GSM type of cell network compared to CDMA (Verizon). You will have to make sure they give you the correct size sim, there are 3 sizes , Mini, Micro and Nano. I believe the phone uses Micro but do make sure!

• it will work with Consumer Cellular,but check with them first to ask about texting pictures with it.My 2nd generation did not accept text pictures.....only the message itself would send. Not sure if 3rd generation is set up for this with them

• It is a GSM device, will not work on CDMa, you have to ask the carrier which system they use.
