• The unit is actually under Lenovo's Umbrella now. They acquired it from Google back in 2014. http://news.lenovo.com/news-releases/lenovo-completes-acquisition-motorola-mobility-from-google.htm Open Box products are usually Not covered by Manufacturer's warranty, so I would check with your local Best Buy to make sure Good Luck
